Founded in the quiet barangay of Magting along the Camiguin Circumferential Road, the property grew from a private family retreat into one of the island's most welcoming accommodations.

Camiguin, often called the "Island Born of Fire," is one of the Philippines' smallest yet most remarkable provinces. Surrounded by the Bohol Sea, it rises from volcanic peaks to pristine white sand beaches, hot and cold springs, and waterfalls that cascade through ancient rainforest. Villa Corrales sits at the edge of this beauty — a gateway for guests who want to experience it all.

From the earliest days, the Corrales family welcomed neighbors, relatives, and eventually travelers who had heard of the property by word of mouth. That original spirit — generous, unpretentious, and genuinely caring — remains the soul of Villa Corrales today.

Early Years

The Corrales Family Homestead

The Corrales property in Magting, Mambajao was established as the family's private seaside home — a place for gatherings, celebrations, and the rhythms of island life along the Camiguin Circumferential Road.

Growth Phase

First Guest Accommodations

Word spread among friends and relatives that the Corrales property had space to spare — comfortable, clean, and genuinely welcoming. The family began hosting overnight guests, planting the seeds of what would become Villa Corrales Hotel.

Expansion

Pool and Villa Construction

Responding to growing demand from group travelers and families, Villa Corrales expanded its facilities — adding the outdoor swimming pool, larger villa accommodations, and the billiards and recreation areas that now define the property's character.

Recognition

PhilGEPS Registration

Villa Corrales became officially registered with the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS), cementing its standing as a legitimate accommodation provider and opening new channels for group and institutional bookings.

Digital Era

Online Presence & Booking Platforms

Villa Corrales launched its Facebook page (@villacorrales21), earning over 6,000 followers, and expanded to international booking platforms including Airbnb, Booking.com, Agoda, and Trip.com — connecting Camiguin travelers worldwide.
